Abuse
Abuse refers to cruel, violent, harmful treatment or injurious treatment of another human being. The word abuse has two more meanings. It can refer to speak to someone in an insulting and offensice way. It also refers to the wrong use of something.
Types of abuse
There are many forms of abuse. Very important among them are physical abuse, verbal abuse, child abuse, sexual abuse and substance abuse.
1. Physical abuse
Physical abuse is the act of beating, kicking, hitting or slapping other person. It is also termed as Domestic abuse or Domestic violence or Family violence when one person tortures his or her own family members by these kind of actions.
2. Verbal abuse
Verbal abuse is an act of insulting or harrassing or attacking someone using bad and harsh words. It is also known as Verbal attack or Verbal violence or Verbal assualt.
3. Child abuse
Child abuse is an act of treating children below 18 years of age with corporal punishments or forcing them to engage in sexual activities or neglecting them instead of taking good care of them. It is also termed as child maltreatment.
4. Sexual abuse
Sexual abuse is an offensive or sexual behaviour by one person upon another. It is often prepetrated using force or by taking advantage of another. It is also referred to as molestation and the offender is referred to as a sexual abuser or molester.
5. Substance abuse
Substance abuse or drug abuse refers to the use of certain chemicals for the purpose of creating pleasurable effects on the brain. There are many forms of substance abuse. Lemme tell you few common things.
Forms of substance abuse
A) Consumption of tobacco is the first form of drug abuse. It is available to the people as Paan Masala and Beeda.
B) Smoking is the second form of drug abuse.

C) Consumption of alcohol is the third and worst of form of drug abuse. The saddest thing is, only alcohol decides the growth of an economy.
D) Consumption of illegal drugs like Heroin, Cocaine and Weed is the fourth form of drug abuse. It is consumed using a pipe by inhaling or injected into the body.
E) Consumption of large amounts of pain killers especially by the elderly people of the society is the fifth form of drug abuse.
